iwalk establishes a new benchmark in the industry by revolutionizing the way moving walks are devised, manufactured and installed.
The new concept reduces installation space to a minimum without compromising capabilities. iwalk offers greater comfort and more safety for users and helps ease planning, integration and operation for architects, general contractors and the final operator at the same time.
Discover for yourself why iwalk is a breakthrough in horizontal transportation.
iwalk is based on a modular concept. A unit consists of different standardized modules which are easily exchangeable or replaceable, making last minute changes possible. Even relocations are now an option using just a forklift.
Reduced dimensions and up to 30% less weight relieve building structures and therefore offer the possibility to reduce reinforcement measures for the building.
iwalk is available with reduced pit depth or in pitless configuration which can be placed directly on the finished floor, minimizing extra civil work or eliminating it completely.
iwalk is available with two different pallet widths: 1,100 / 1,400 mm | 3’ - 7” / 4’ - 7” Both options feature reduced outer dimensions compared with conventional designs, increasing comfort for users while requiring less building space.
The new comb segments are only 7 mm | 0’ - 0 9/32” above the pallet band, a reduction of 80% compared with conventional moving walkways. Entering and leaving was never easier and safer. The stumbling risk is reduced to a minimum.
The overall reduction in weight provides ecological benefits. Together with the modular design, transportation requirements are reduced and therefore also the impact on the environment. The use of different energy saving options makes iwalk a sustainable product.
Once the product comes to the end of its life cycle, most of the parts can be recycled.
Last but not least, the new design relinquishes the need for visible screws along the whole unit and together with the increased glass ratio lends your project a streamlined “state of the art” look.
